Cosplay issues

_{I'm going to cosplay for the very first time. But I'm scared, because my outfit is very inconstant with the original.
Jack Frost for the movie "Rise of the Guardians" is the one I'm cosplaying.
I have the jacket, and the pants, but the jacket is a dark blue, and the pants are beige. And my mother, (who agreed to fully help me with the costume) refuses to let me color any of the clothing we purchased. Which will be hard not to do, as Jack Frost's jacket as bits of "ice" on it, and I need to draw those myself. The pants are the big ol' issue, originally, Jack has dark brown pants with a bit of fading in between of each leg, problem is, my pants are plain beige, and I have no way to make them darker. Now, the hair, OH! THE HAIR! I cut it, last weekend, but my mother refused to have it as short as Jack, which is the type I really like, so know I freaking look like Velma from Scooby-Doo, and it's hard to find any white ink for my hair.
The staff however was the only one that was... easy? It's basically done from chinese sticks, toilette paper holders(?), paper and duck tape, it's curvier than it should but it's good enough for me.
The big finally, Jack walks around barefoot, but the place I'm going cosplayed as him, is in Lisbon (Pavilhão Atlântico), in April, and with this weather we're having my mother won't allow me to go barefoot, but, I think that won't be a problem, Jack also has blue eyes, but I'm not too worked up over that and finally, he doesn't wear glasses, but I do, big ugly pink reddish glasses, and I refuse to wear lenses because I'm sure I won't be able to get them out. Also, a perfect base for the face would be lovely so I can look a bit wither....
If any of you can help me out with anything, you can write your suggestions.
